Anglo-Norwegian singer Sasha Siem has a new album going on: Most Of The Boys Sasha Siem is indeed a controversial figure among the alternative genre singers and songwriters. She places herself at the confluence of many unique artists, like György Kurtag, Mauricio Kagel, Salvatore Sciarrino, Claude Vivier, Gerard Grisey, Jose Evangelista, Vivaldi, François Couperin, Robert Schumann, Jean-Philippe Rameau. Having such musical background and making that kind of music morph into your own melodic concept is a lot. Most people listen to 50 Cent and sing like 50 Cent. No innovation. No idea. Perfect simile.
