Listen to Rome Ramirez' solo debut single Dedication
Singer/songwriter of Sublime With Rome, Rome Ramirez prepares a solo debut EP Dedication and he recently released the lead-single witht he same title "Dedication". Reportedly the single is co-written by fun.'s Nate Ruess and was produced by Jeff Bhasker.
On his debut solo EP - out June 12th on Fueled by Ramen - singer/songwriter Rome teamed up with a variety of producers and songwriters, from Benny Blanco (Maroon 5, Ke$ha) to RoboPop (Gym Class Heroes), and also The Futuristics (The Lonely Island Feat. Justin Timberlake & Lady Gaga). The EP's title track is a personal but peppy acoustic paean, which seems to be his favorite track on the set. "The song's about loving someone who is struggling with getting their life together and eventually having to move on," says Rome. "It's probably some of the most personal stuff I've put in a song. Sometimes all you need is the right people to pull the best out of you, and that's what I feel happened with the three of us. The right individuals, at the right place and time."
