Rita Ora landed on the Cover of Complex Magazine
Rita Ora, a rap songstress with a singing background in her parents' bars in London has recently landed on the cover of Complex magazine, looking absolutely fabolous in a pink outfit. She also recently debuted a new track "Roc The Life" in which she sings about fame and fortune. She describes herself as a "prima donna" who can "kick a motherf***er to the cizzurb" in the song. She also sings that she "can't express enough how much I want it" and talks about living the "roc life." She describes her big dream even more as crooning, "Baby one day I wanna be there/ Beyond the stars like a zillionaire."
The rock-infused song is the newest cut from her debut album, ORA, which is yet to be announced in United States. The record is going to be released under Roc Nation which is also the label where Rihanna is signed to. When asked about the album, the 21-year-old singer told Digital Spy, "It's going to be a shock, but in a good way. It brings together a few different aspects of music I've loved and listened to growing up."
"I love Little Dragon and The Vaccines, but then I love B.I.G. and TLC and Destiny's Child, so you can expect variety," she said, listing down the artists who inspired her on this album. "No Doubt was also a big influence on me while making this record, so you're going to hear all the ins and outs of those kind of genres," she added.
About Rita's cover story, entitled Rita Rocs we can say that it explores this superstar talent-on-the-come up, as penned by Senior Editor Rob Kenner. She declares herself attracted to the big crowd that gathers in front of a stage when an artist performa, and to sing in front of all the people has always been her dream.
