Rita Ora

It is rumoured that Rita Ora and Calvin Harris have called it quits.

'Rita and Calvin have split,' a source told British newspaper The Sun.

The 23-year-old British singer and the Scottish music producer have been seeing each other for nine months. Apparently their successful careers may be the reason for their split.

'It's been tough for both of them but it's been even harder for them to spend time together recently… He's busy DJing and she's working on her new album and shooting 50 Shades Of Grey.'

'Calvin is more private when it comes to fame than Rita, which also played a part,' the insider explained. 'He'd be happy to meet someone who has nothing to do with the industry.'

Rita alluded to a split on her Instagram account on Tuesday saying: 'Have you ever wondered which hurts the most: saying something and wishing you had not, or saying nothing and wishing you had.' the post read.
