Keane's Strangeland goes straight to UK Number 1 AlbumRock band Keane have scored their fifth UK Number One album with recent release of 'Strangeland, outselling Emeli Sande's Our Vision Of Events by two copies to one. The East Sussex band, whose first three albums and their 2010 EP, 'Night Train', have all debuted at the top of the Official Album Chart.

Following on from his appearance on Later with Jools Holland, Richard Hawley has recorded his highest ever solo chart position. His seventh studio album, Standing At The Sky's Edge, debuts in at Number Three. Adele's 21 and Lana Del Rey's Born To Die make up the rest of Top 5.

Elsewhere, The Cribs break into the Top 10 with their fifth studio album, In The Belly Of The Brazen Bull, entering at Number Nine. My Bloody Valentine are at Number 33 with the release of 'EPs 1988-1991'.

At the same time, in the singles chart, pop songstress Rita Ora debuted her second UK Number 1, with R.I.P (featuring Tinie Tempah) displacing Tulisa who falls to Number 2 with Young. Former chart-topper Carly Rae Jepsen is at Number Three with Call Me Maybe, while Alex Clare and FUN make up the rest of the Top 5.
