Ringo Starr hints at Las Vegas residency
In a press conference on Tuesday in Hollywood, Ringo Starr said that he may be in the mood to settle down in one place rather than spending his "retirement" years on the road.
Ringo, 73, announce a Latin America tour with his All-Starr Band and said that he would like a residency in Las Vegas. When asked about the possibility, he replied "You mean like 'The Golden Drums?' Like - what is it - 'The Red Piano? [Elton John's Las Vegas show] It's been talked about, but nothing's been finalized. We have a couple years before that happens, I believe. So what is the answer? Not yet."
