DON'T BE OVERCOME

Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger

quarreling and slander Ep. 4:31

along with every form of abuse

For we are not wresting with flesh and blood

contending only with physical opponents

but against the powers Ep. 6:12

against the master spirits

who are the world rulers of this present darkness

against the spirit forces of wickedness

in the heavenly realm

you'll never find us

we're so well concealed

you'll never find us

we'll never be revealed

Bless those who persecute you

Bless and curse not Romans 12:14-16

Rejoice with those who rejoice

and weep with those who weep

Be of the same mind toward one another

Do not be haughty in mind

but associate with the lowly

do not be wise in your own estimation

Don't be overcome by evil Romans 12:21

But overcome evil with good

Never pay back evil for evil to anyone

Respect what is right in the sight of all men

If possible so far as it depends on you

be at peace with all men Romans 12:17-19

Never take your own revenge

Thy word is a lamp to my feet Ps. 119:105

And a light to my path
