Country Singer Randy Travis Out of Hospital
The 54-year-old country music legend Randy Travis has been released from Baylor Heart hospital in Plano, Texas, weeks after suffering from a serious heart condition and stroke.
Randy was hospitalised on July 7, where he was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy. This disease weakens the heart’s muscle causing viral infections.
The star had issues with alcohol, but these are problems are unrelated to his current ill health.
Mary Davis, Travis’ fiancée, expressed her appreciation for all the support he’s received during his time in the hospital.
“Thanks to all the fans and friends for your continued prayers and support as Randy continues on the road to recovery,” she said.
