Bit by bit, Pries releases his After The Forest Fire album

Bit by bit, Pries releases his After The Forest Fire albumYou would think Pries is foreshadowing his soon to be out album, but that’s a bit of a rash statement. The man is releasing songs off of his ‘After The Forest Fire’ album two days before the album’s release. You barely have a longing time. It’s like showing a baby the piece of candy and then immediately giving it away. No drool time, you know what I mean? But be it as it may, we’ll be receiving the album later today. That’s a good thing.

This second song off the album, Rabbit, is a sort of inverted sheep amongst wolves. The sheep is in disguise, only thing is Pries took it higher and used the rabbit allegory. The scariest of animals, the rabbit, grew up with the boasting and flexing that went round every hood, and came up to hold the gun. It’s like the animal dictatorship from Orwell’s Animal Farm, only there we had a pig that was the oligarch.

Are you feeling this one? It’s coming down hard, and people everywhere are sensing Pries’ ascension in the animal world of rap. Claws and fangs, this man is all in!
