American Nights is out. Plain White Ts is still that heartwarming band we know!
We enjoyed the eponymous song, "American Nights", but I gotta say, off the whole album, there are other songs that are really well-done, formally and artistically. Clear sound and really good vibes coming from songs like "You Belong", "Love Again", "Stay".
With lyrics like these, I'd fall for these guys in an instant:
"(Tell me why) I feel that I can love you Before I say hello (I don't know why) I'd sell my soul away For a girl I don't even know"
or these lines, from "Someday You're Gonna Love Me"... heartbreaking:
"In my mind, you're all mine I've loved you since the day we met But I'll keep this love secret You're just too young to understand But don't worry, there's no hurry You've got some catching up to do So go be young, go have fun I'm fine just waiting here for you"
