Watch Pitbull and Shakira in their music video Get It StartedPitbull and Shakira fire up the screen in the action-packed video for "Get It Started." Mr. Worldwide and the Colombian bombshell connect on the hip-shaking number, which is the first single off Pit's upcoming album Global Warming, due this fall. Opened with "The Bourne Legacy"-esque shots of Pitbull and a sexy brunette, the espionage-themed video centers on the rapper as he tries to save the lady from someone who looks like a mob boss.

Highlighting the sunny ambience of a city, the video also presents some action-packed scenes as the Florida rapper gets involved in a dangerous car chase to save his girl. Shakira, meanwhile, is never seen sharing a scene with him. Looking gorgeous in a golden gown, the Colombian songstress is featured singing alone on a balcony while the sun shines through her blond hair.

The clip is closed with scenes featuring Pitbull's concert which is packed with a lot of hot girls. Fireworks are seen bursting in the night sky as the concertgoers dance to the Latin rapper's song.

Shakira's outfit certainly achieves the notable feat of turning the spicy Latina favourite's self-described 'small and humble' charms into something altogether more substantial. Her trademark billy goat-style vocals add a degree of charm to the song, in which Pitbull revels in boasting about his success as an entertainer.

"To a passport flooded with stamps, now it's Voli everywhere I land/ Two passports, three cities, two countries, one day./ Now that's worldwide, if you think it's a game, let's play", Pitbull sings. While Shakira provides vocals for the chorus, she never features alongside its main star. Check out the David Russo-directed clip below.
