Si Robertson Featured in Children's Christmas DVD Realm Former North Caddo football player and current "Duck Dynasty" favorite uncle, Si Robertson, is joining Owl City and Toby Mac in the Newest VeggieTales Christmas Movie, “Merry Larry and the True Light of Christmas.”

Si Robertson, will give voice to a “lovable” and “wise” okra janitor named Silas. His character will narrate the Christmas tale, which will follow cucumber Merry Larry, an enthusiastic employee of the Spring Valley Mall, who serves as "Head Elf" during the Christmas season. His only wish is to spread joy at the holidays, and together with a little with a big heart girl, he sets off on an adventure that will show the town of Spring Valley what Christmas is all about.

The popular Owl City and the legendary Toby Mac will perform the theme song, entitled “Light of Christmas.” The DVD is scheduled to arrive in Christian retail outlets on Oct. 19, 2013, and in stores all over on Oct. 22, 2013. “We're especially excited to be adding a celebrity okra to our star-studded cast of vegetables to give our new holiday DVD added fun and sparkle, while illuminating the core values of VeggieTales,” declared Leslie Ferrell, President of Big Idea Entertainment in a press release. “Si Robertson is a perfect fit because, like VeggieTales, Duck Commander is all about celebrating faith and family.”
