Owl City and Carly Rae Jepsen explore great outdoors in the new clip Good Time
Owl City and Carly Rae Jepsen take their friends outdoors, camping and partying from dawn to dusk in the music video of "Good Time". The two collaborated on the lead single of Owl City's new album The Midsummer Station which will be released on August 21 on Universal Public. Song will also appear on Jepsen's second album. In the musical duo's video, the "Call Me Maybe" songstress and Owl City's Adam Young head into the woods to enjoy some sun, swimming and slushies with their pals. How great does that look, huh?!
"This song really felt like a duet and if it wasn't for anybody than Carly Rae it wouldn't be half as magical," Adam Young of Owl City told Fuse. "I knew I wanted a strong female lead for it and her name popped up and all of a sudden it was magic. Now that it's finally done, I can't believe it actually happened."
About the location in the video, it was revealed that they filmed it in New York City earlier this month. "I would say it's fun, it's carefree and it's ...I love it, spontaneous," Jepsen gushed, adding, "My three words, they're a little bit intense, but I would say, it's really hot."
