No Doubt finally premiered Settle Down music video. Watch it!
The much-awaited single from No Doubt "Settle Down" has finally arrived in full. On top of that, the band has also premiered the music video in support of their first single in many years.
After a lengthy hiatus, Gwen Stefani, Tony Kanal, Tom Dumont, and Adrian Young have once again joined forces te release a new album Push and Shove, due out on September 24, 2012. This one marks the band's first studio album since 2001's Rock Steady.
"Settle Down" proves they have not only been able to keep their classic catchy style, but also reinvent their reggae-infused beat to attract a new generation of musical rebels curious about the band's upcoming material. The clip premiered on E! Online on Monday, and opens with each member driving a truck, consulting maps, and checking the time on their neon colored watches. The "rough-and-tough" band finally meet and after a short moment of hugs and greetings, the quartet puts on a show for a crowd of eager spectators.
The video, which was directed by Sophie Muller, looks like one big celebration with lights flashing everywhere and people dancing to the song. Pyrotechnics can also be seen going off in the background of the video which adds to party vibe of the clip.
No Doubt can also be watched performing this Sunday, July 22 at the Teen Choice Awards. They will continue to dominate the American television the rest of the month with a performance at Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on June 26th, and another set a few hours later on Good Morning America on July 27th.
