Nicki Minaj parties at the carnival in her video Pound The Alarm
Female rapper Nicki Minaj returned to her Trinidad and Tobago hometown during the carnival ambience in Port of Spain for her new music video "Pound The Alarm".
With curly blonde locks and donning a sexy Harajuku Barbie feather outfit, she is joined by numerous babes dressed in extravagant costumes and elaborate headdresses.
Nicki opens the song singing against the backdrop of this beautiful, Caribbean skyline, but soon takes to the streets for dancing, as fireworks and even flame throwers are all a part of the celebration. Typically riotous, over the top and colorful, the video delivers everything we love about Nicki Minaj.
The shimmering vibe of the music video perfectly matches the bouncy tone of the eurodance track, in which the raptress invites people to join her in the party and "come fill up my glass a little more." The clip was directed by Benny Boom, who also worked on Minaj's videos "Right By My Side" and "Beez in the Trap".
This song is the fourth single from the Young Money rapper's sophomore album, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded.
