Here is a Brooklyn lyricist that will blow yo mind: KonceptKoncept hit a collab back in 2012 with Ryan Montgomery, betta known as Royce da 5'9", rapper related with Eminem and Slaughterhouse. He's reached his peak, from what we can tell, but the man still remained in the underground. I guess no matter who you roll with, people are still gonna listen to bummed down, unrealistic songs. Koncept, as his rap pseudonym tells it, spits about the meaningful things, things that fall into the serene individuality of a system. No gats, no rollies, no whips, no cartier frames, and so on, so go figure why his songs only get 30.000 views.

This new remix he's got going on tho, things went a bit outta place. He shifted somehow, to a more Stan, or Cleaning Up My Closet cliche, with a little bit of that Busta Rhymes rhythm. His idea is good, he took Little Dragon's song 'Forever', and turned it from a romantic view of love (everlasting, mutual, projected upon the horizon, idealized) to a sensitive description of the artist's venue in this art called music. "Give the emperor what belongs to the emperor, and give the artist what belongs to the artist". His song will surely get more likes, especially because of this unwilling emulation of Eminem and Busta's rhyme pattern. Koncept's more vulgar, he's a little bit redundant, in other words, he's not the Koncept we know from 'Awaken'. Is this new mask of his gon' hit the tops? We believe so. Tell us what you think 'bout it!
