New music: Nelly Furtado's single The Spirit Indestructible has leakedWhile Nelly Furtado unveiled the artwork of her new single "The Spirit Indestructible" just 5 days ago, the Canadian songstress has now debuted the song itself, to the fans listening pleasure. The single, produced by Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins, who also worked on Nelly's previous single "Big Hoops (Bigger The Better)" begins with a harpsichord sounds, just before the dance tune kicks in.

"It's an ode to the spirit which resides in all of us and triumphs over anything," explained the Canadian songstress. "It is inspired by people I have met, and special moments in history that I have read about."

Oddly, there's something totally 80's about whatever's going on in this hot mess of a song. Though it appears not to be in its final version, the track can be listened below. The track is definitely hot and hits you much faster than its predecessor.
