Listen to Nelly Furtado's official version of new single Parking Lot
In preparation for the release of her new project The Spirit Indestructible LP, Nelly Furtado recently unveiled the official studio version of the dance-heavy number titled "Parking Lot". Furtado previously performed the Darkchild-produced "Parking Lot" last month at The Sayers Club in Hollywood.
The Grammy-winning singer says she began writing the new album around the time her last album — the all-Spanish Mi Plan — was released. "I was in a great headspace, feeling refreshed and ready to really deliver in English again," she told Songwriter Universe. "This album is all about positivity, youth, good energy, and the relentlessness of the spirit. I want people to live this music the way we did when we wrote it. I want them to jump, dance, scream, laugh, cry, love, and vibe to it, and to turn it up very loud everywhere."
The Spirit Indestructible LP was annoounced to be released on September 11th.
