There are two bands named The Morning Light:
- an Italian post-punk band was announced on Jamendo
- and the American pop-punk as described below
There are a number of ways to recognize when a band has that special something times it can seem almost impossible to describe the feeling you get when a band only recourse you have is the feeling of popping a CD into your stereo and get chills from the first vocal line until the last snare hit, or the feeling of not being able to see off all the time one ties adorn the stage when it comes to The Morning Light you realize the devotion of their ever growing fans when you hear the whole crowd sings every word to a song that not even registered yet Few bands play with intensity, honesty and musicality of rock quintetbased in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, but if you are lucky enough to squeeze in one of their always packed, the experience speaks for itself
After having spent days on the road with big acts such as MxPx Reel Big Fish and The Rocket Summer in a band called Transition keyboardist vocalist Harrison Wargo and vocalist Bobby Garver decided it was time to start writing music that had fewer barriers and felt more artistically fulfilling two long-standing friends sat in a studio and began writing music that would ultimately leave them feeling more accomplished "I realized that I had to make music that I really love if I could spend my life doing it, "said Harrison, find band members who had the same goals and vision were critical filling in the missing btakes were former bandmate ennd long time friend Matt Colussy on guitar and vocals Nick Baxter on drums and Andy McDonald on bass,
It did not take very long for the boys to make a strong impression playing their first show in February 2007 the band was signed nine months subsequent to the powerful label Fearless Records, proud home to pop-rock icons At the Drive-In Plain White T's Mayday Parade and The Maine "We were so excited to sign with Fearless," remembers Harrison "It felt like it was time to take next step and Fearless seemed like the right direction for us, "The new record label in combination with features in magazines such as Alternative Press and AMP Outburn Substream helped to springboard The Morning Light in his eyes and anxietytion in a whole new sea of fans
On the heels of a strong EP entitled "The Sounds of Love" was released in March 2008 on Fearless Records, the band jumped back into the studio with producer Matt Goldman (Underoath Cartel Meg & Dia, Copeland) to record their first full length album album "The Morning Light" first and foremost to the disc was to do something that the band could not only continue on its natural stylistically, but also to do something that the band could have fun with and experiment a bit, opened up many of the stronger performances showcased on the debut self-titled opening track titled "Wake Up" will instantly attract the attention of listeners and is a perfect picture of the band's ability direction and sound, even if the band haves really a staple to their sound Record keeps the listener guessing on tracks such as "Have You Tonight" "It is a little different than the other songs on the album" says Harrison, "But it's much the same as the rest and they all fit together they are all written and performed by the same people they are a package deal", he adds, "We used a lot of horns and strings ... as far as instrumentation this kind of song suitable for a lot of experimentation, we had a lot of fun making this record and take great pride in the "Registration was closed during the winter months in Atlanta Georgia in just six weeks and is scheduled to turn store shelves August 5, 2008
The Morning Light is certainly no stranger to touring after playing 150 shows hela U.S. in 2007 with acts such as Cute is what we are For All Time Low and Just Surrender In addition to bi-coastal appearances at Bamboozle festivals in early 2008 the band will continue to hit the road hard with help from their booking agent Craig Newman at APA (Plain White T's Mayday Parade) after a full U.S. tour with The Audition in the late spring The Morning Light jumped back in the car to promote their release debut album through the summer in dance throughout the country Tour with The Hush Sound Cab and Steel Train The band is confident that their time on the road in 2008 will lead to a stronger and even faster-growing fan-base quickly become known in cities everywhere for their emotional and dynamic performances by vocalist Garver says, "We want to have baraattfun and really get into the music "Be sure to catch the band at one of the most anticipated tours of the Fall with The Rocket Summer Phantom Planet, The Secret Handshake and of course, The Morning Light
