Miguel, Beyonce Knowles, Elle Varner & John Legend Honored at Soul Train Awards 2012Soul Train Awards 2012 was held at Planet Hollywood Live in Las Vegas, were simulcast on BET and Centric on November 25th at 8PM ET/PT. The ceremony honored performers as Miguel, Elle Varner, Tyrese, Beyonce and John Legend. Ne-Yo and Fantasia Barrino gave performances during the event. Stevie Wonder also performed Aretha Franklin's cover "Don't Play That Song" by singer Fantasia.

The ceremony was hosted by Cedric the Entertainer and honored New Edition with the Lifetime Achievement Award, paid tribute to late Soul Train founder, Don Cornelius.

A special tribute for the one who changed the landscape of the industry, is the creator and host, Don Cornelius.

Other big names who joined Soul Train in celebrating some of the best musical contributions include Jamie Foxx, Elise Neal, Eddie Levert, Billy Crystal, Earvin “Magic” Johnson, Melanie Fiona, Jody Watley, Doug E. Fresh, Tony Rock, Luke James, Estelle, Donny and Marie Osmond, Vampire Diaries star Kat Graham and Tamar Braxton.
