MC Hammer premieres Better Run music video
MC Hammer is the latest to take a shot at Jay-Z and Hammer does so in the premiere of his newest music video for Better Run Run. In the video, MC Hammer boldly calls out Hov for the much-talked about affiliation with the devil, dedicating the entire first verse to those specifics through words and in the video. He also portrays Jay-Z as a slightly larger figure donned in a New York Yankees fitted and proceeds to try and save him with a baptismal of sorts at the very end of the video.
The Devil said 'I'll give you the world' 'I'll take it plus give me a girl/ Mister devil can you give a sign he said 'throw the rock up, that's one of mine'," the rapper-turned-preacher spits his verses. He becomes the hero at the end, blocking the devil and baptizing the Jigga impersonator.
Jay-Z sparked the feud when he mentions about the much-publicized dissolution of MC Hammer's hefty fortune in Kanye West's song So Appalled. Jigga raps, Hammer went broke so you know I'm more focused/ I lost 30 mil' so I spent another 30/ 'Cause unlike Hammer 30 million can't hurt me.
