She was one of the president's vocal supporters during his re-election campaign. Mariah performed this inspirational song during the summer at a fundraiser, but Jermaine Dupri unveiled the real studio version on Global14.com. "NEW MARIAH CAREY SONG, SHE WROTE FOR OBAMA,BTW THIS IS THE REAL VERSION," he wrote in a post for the song.

The pop diva expressed her happiness on her Twitter account over Obama's victory. "Congratulations to our beloved President Barack Obama, our spectacular First Lady Michelle Obama & the adorable Malia & Sasha. We love you!" she tweeted.
