Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina perform on 'CMA Country Christmas' Special
The winner of American Idol Season 10, Scotty McCreery, as well as the runner-up Lauren Alaina took the stage last night at the 'CMA Country Christmas' special which aired on ABC. Scotty McCreery performed a beautiful and faithful rendition of "The First Noel", whilst the country cutie Lauren performed "My Grown Up Christmas".
Dressed in an elegant outfit, which included a black blaizer, a purple shirt and dark jeans, Scotty gave a beautiful performance of classical Christmas yuletide, but in his own country style. In his pre-show interview, McCreery says of the experience, "It's incredible to be here. I watched it last year and to be here for the second show, it's incredible ... For me, they'll be seeing me sing The First Noel ... it's a special one to me because I grew up singing it in church."

'CMA Country Christmas' was taped before a live audience at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee on November 11, 2011. More artists performing during the special event were: Little Big town, Martina, Rascal Flatts, Keith Urban, Darius Rucker, Kellie Pickler, Faith Hill, Vince Gill, Amy Grant, and Brian Setzer, as well the special guest Brad Paisley.
