Lana Del Rey premiered music video to support new single Carmen
Lifted off her first major album Born To Die, Lana Del Rey debuted the brand new video to support "Carmen" announcing it on her Twitter page with a link to the five-minute clip. She wrote on the micro-blogging website, Twitter: "Made you something. CARMEN explains everything."
The clip includes the tale of a drug-addicted teenager, which compiles clippings of new and old footage that "explains everything." Some of them include her riding on the backseat of a motorcycle with a young boy and the others show a young stripper working her body around a pole. It kinda narrates the lifestyle of Hollywood party girls like Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan.
"The album is a tribute to living life on the wild side. I'm sort of kidding because I'm not that wild any more... I used to drink a lot. Too much," she once said. "I haven't had a drink for seven years now."
