Video premiere: Ladyhawke goes in the desert in her Blue Eyes clip
Ladyhawke just unveiled the music video supporting "Blue Eyes", her third single to be taken from the singer's second album Anxiety. The video for "Blue Eyes" reportedly was filmed at the Oceano Dunes off-road park in Los Angeles earlier this year, and is directed by Jess Holzworth.
The newly released clip sees Ladyhawke, real name Phillipa 'Pip' Brown, consuming some unknown beverage that sends her into one colourful cat head filled psychedelic trip. Fortunately, a desert hippie holy man comes to Pip's aid and helps her regain her bearings enough to rock out in the sand dunes. The trip is completed with colorful animation sequences of cats and skulls. We just love her 'Na na na na na' chorus! Take a look at the clip after the jump.
While talking to DigitalSpy about the album, Ladyhawke said: "This one is a little bit darker compared to my last record, which was quite pastel-ey and dancey. This one is a bit rockier too... it's hard to describe it actually! The music has taken on its own personality."
