Lady Gaga Suffers Court Setback
The court refused Gaga’s opportunity to get her former’s assistant lawsuit thrown out. The Applause singer has suffered a setback in court on Tuesday against her former assistant, the New York Daily News reported.
Lady Gaga’s ex-employee Jennifer O'Neill insisted that the singer forced her to be on call "every hour of every day."
Jennifer O’Neill sued Gaga for $380,000 in 2011.
Gaga told to the Federal Court Judge Paul Gardephe that Jennifer was allowed to take care of personal business only if she had her cell phone with her.
But the judge ruled that on-call time can constitute work and a jury will decide how much private time Jennifer was or wasn't granted while working for the musician. We expect more news about this.
