Lady Gaga records Jazz Album with Tony Bennett
Lady Gaga proposed a big-band full length album to the 86-year-old singer Tony Bennett.
The music legend of Jazz, Tony Bennett, is excited about recording a new album with his pal Lady Gaga. He wants to "reaffirm that she's one of the best jazz singers that anyone's ever heard." He also call Lady Gaga "the musical Picasso" and he is marveled by her permanent changes "Every day she changes, she has so many ideas and carries them out..a lot of people don't know it, but she's a phenomenal jazz singer."
Both artists collaborated before on a version of the Rodgers and Hart song "The Lady is a Tramp," which appeared on Bennett's album "Duets II." Marion Evans is preparing for the arrangement and the orchestration of the album. The tracklist is a secret for the moment.
For the moment the Tony is still promoting his new album "Viva Duets" and his book "Life Is a Gift: The Zen of Bennett".
