Avril Lavigne and Scotty McCreery joins Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade
Music fans from all genres will have something to be thankful for this year. Punky popster Avril Lavigne and country crooner Scotty McCreery will be joining soulful Cee-Lo Green and others at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. They'll be celebrating the 85th annual of float and fanfare. Also, will be performing at the holiday event artists as Mary J. Blige, Cobra Starship, Rodney Atkins, Neil Diamond, the cast of Broadway's "Spiderman: Turn of the Dark" and actor Daniel Radcliffe along his team of Broadway's "How to succeed in Business without Really Think".
Meanwhile, the Mother Monster will spread the holiday joy in a Thanksgiving 90-minute TV special, called "A Very Gaga Thanksgiving", which will air on ABC on November 24 at 9:30 P.M. EST. It will give a peek inside the outlandish singer's personal life, and see her performing eight songs in front of close friends and family. Lady GaGa reportedly will perform her duet with Tony Bennett on 'The Lady Is a Tramp'.
The special program will also give a look at GaGa as she prepares a Thanksgiving dinner with the help of chef Art Smith. Besides, she will have a one-on-one conversation about her life and inspirations behind her music with Katie Couric. They will do the interview at the singer's alma mater, Sacred Heart Catholic School in Manhattan.
