Ne-Yo would be proud! Female version of She Knows, by Kristinia DeBarge and Juicy J Well, actually, it's less of that complete makeover that Frankee did to Eamon's track 'I Don't Want You Back'. That was an insurrection, if you may, the original work of art was completely tampered with and the re-mixer(Frankee) showed no respect whatsoever to the mixer(Eamon).

Kristinia DeBarge is an artist with tact and a soft hand. She remixes songs she appreciates without deviating too much from the original source. That shows two things: respect toward the artist's work, and moderation (she chose to stay in the background by not promoting her own original song). These are key assets for what will surely be a great artist. You don't jump into deep waters, you take a short dip first. See what the water's like, know what I'm sayin'?

The song ain't even 100% girl, as she has Juicy J jump on the track and give it a slight... (you knew I was gonna say kinky, didn't you?!) kinky vibe. Kinky? Nah, that don't sound right. A more intimate flow. How bout that?

Her last remix was a Coco mix. Again, while hopping on an OT Genasis skit would seem outrageously brave, her demeanor is more of a respectful fan that's just paying tribute to a master. You cannot compare her emulation to Kevin Gates' remix, let's say. That version's undoubtedly conventionally named a remix. It's nothing of the sort. Nothing's the same as the original song: not the metric foot, not the rhyming pattern, not even the hook. That's a whole 'nother song right there. Which isn't bad, but it's only doable by an artist of Gates' caliber.

My shout to you guys is hear Kristinia out, she has a wonderful voice, kinda getting that Tinashe vibe from her, and that's awesome. Check out her older songs, you have loads of A plus material through which you can skim, I can tell you that much. Here's 'She knows (I know)'
