Air conditioning&rsquo;s stuck on heat<br />

Outside it&rsquo;s raining<br />
There&rsquo;s a guest upstairs complaining<br />
&lsquo;Bout the room that&rsquo;s got the TV too loud<br />
Guess at times like these remind me<br />
That I gotta keep my feet on the ground<br />

Wake up so early<br />
Round 7:30<br />
Housekeeping knocking on my door<br />
&lsquo;Do not disturb&rsquo; sign<br />
The back of her mind<br />
I must have on the floor<br />

My eyes are hurting<br />
&lsquo;Cause the cheap nylon curtains<br />
Let&rsquo;s the sunlight creep in through from the clouds<br />
Guess at times like these remind me<br />
That I gotta keep my feet on the ground<br />

The roof keeps leaking<br />
The door keeps creaking<br />
I can&rsquo;t take this any more<br />
The TV keeps braking<br />
The room keeps shaking<br />
I&rsquo;d rather be in number 4<br />

The room has no phone<br />
So I can&rsquo;t call home<br />
I just hope it will be found<br />
