Watch Kelly Clarkson's performing National Anthem at Super Bowl XLVIWhile Madonna rocked the halftime show at Super Bowl XLVI last night, February 5th, the "American Idol" winner Kelly Clarkson was the one to deliver the National Anthem. Joined by the Indianapolis Children's Choir and some drummers Kelly sang "The Star-Spangled Banner" ahead of the match between the New York Giants and the New England Patriots, which ended with the Giants' 21-17 victory over the Patriots.

She kept her rendition simple and straightforward, but managed to throw her signature high voice at the end of it. Kelly was wearing a simple black mini dress and matched her hair in a long straight cut. Watch her performance below.

At the same time, Kelly's performance was preceded by another one offered by country couple Blake Shelton and his wife Miranda Lambert. Holding their hands, the two delivered a duet of the patriotic song "America the Beautiful": "O beautiful for spacious skies,/ For amber waves of grain,/ For purple mountain majesties/ Above the fruited plain!/ America! America!/ God shed His grace on thee,/ And crown thy good with brotherhood/ From sea to shining sea!"/ America! America!".
