Kathy And Sister Sledge fight Over Name
The band named Sister Sladge are no longer abide to the words of their biggest hits.
The band is international known for their biggest hit caleed We Are Family witch was sung by Kathy Sledge at that time. Later Kathy had left the band and went to do her own solo hits like including Take Me Back to Love Again, while the rest of the group continued performing.
The current bersion of the band had sue Kathy becouse of the continued used of the name od the band promoting her own hits. The suit, filed in early-July, says that Kathy and her organization and management had billed an Australian tour and other dates as Sister Sledge Featuring Kathy Sledge and Kathy Sledge of Sister Sledge which is an infringement of the trademarked group name which is owned by the plaintiffs.
