Katharine Mcphee's song Say Goodbye is a beautiful track that will be included on the soundtrack of the upcoming faith film entitled I Am. The movie will be directed by John Ward, and has garnered a lot of hype in recent weeks. Because the song was chosen to be in the movie, it opened the doors for Mcphee to shoot a video for the track.

The song was included on her sophomore album "Unbroken" which was released in January 2010. Katherine also recently darkened her hair, which was previously dyed blonde. It will be interesting to see if the song being included in the movie is able to spark additional interest in her previously released album, which was met by critical acclaim when it was originally released.

The album was heavily promoted, but she never fell in the good graces of American audiences. Most of her fan base is located overseas, which is where she does most of her performing. She is currently working on a Christmas album that will be released in time for the holidays. Making a Christmas album can be a great way to create a buzz in the United States, after all, it previously worked for Mariah Carey, who is also now working on her follow up Christmas album.
