Jessie J Sings about becoming famous in 'Who's Laughing Now' video!
A day after she teased her UK 'Who's Laughing Now' music video, the 'Prize Tag' hitmaker, Jessie J has premiered the full clip.
The bobbed-haired singer reminisces on her days as an outcast in grade school when she was teased by the popular kids. But a young Jessie gets payback in the video, wreaking havoc on the cafeteria and theater, and hosing the mean girls with a fire extinguisher. She is belting out the verses: Oh, so you think you know me now/ Have you forgotten how/ You would make me feel/ When you drag my spirit down/ But thank you for the pain/ It made me raise my game/ And I'm still rising, I'm still rising.
The Brit Award winner said she was teased her about her teeth and called Bugs Bunny by kids at her school in Romford, Essex.
Jessie told The Sun: "It might be kinda funny now but it was horrific at the time. Kids at school nicknamed me Alien and they threw rocks at me". The singer was diagnosed with an irregular heartbeat aged 11 and even suffered a stroke when she was younger.
'Who's Laughing Now' serves as the fourth single from the 23 year old's Platinum debut Who You Are.
