Jeremy Castle was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and raised in Blanchard, Oklahoma. He grew up listening to the sound of traditional country artists such as Merle Haggard, George Jones, and George Strait. Castle began learning to play guitar from Charlie Archer, lead guitarist for Conway Twitty.

He began writing his own music and performing while a college student, playing football at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, Oklahoma. Castle graduated from East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma in 1997.

Jeremy Castle got his start performing throughout the states of Oklahoma, Missouri, and Texas during the 1990's by singing in venues such as the legendary Cain's Ballroom in Tulsa and Billy Bob's Texas in Fort Worth and also performing at Branson venues such as Barbara Fairchild's Theater.
