Jennifer Hudson has managed to astonish the viewers at the BET Honors Monday night.

The Dreamgirls artist performed at the Time Warner Theatre in Washington, DC during a special tribute led by Aretha Franklin.

According to Jennifer’s fans the artist was absolutely amazing.

“Jennifer Hudson just shut down the BET Honors Show,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

“They might as well have Jennifer officially sign on to play Aretha in a biopic. #BETHONORS,” another added.

Other artists that performed at the show were Mariah Carey, Janelle Monae, Tamar Braxton, and Smokey Robinson. The show was hosted by Wayne Brady.

The 2014 BET Honors will air on BET's international network on February 28.

Proceeds from ticket sales benefit the Women Veterans Interactive, supporting US veterans and their families.
