Jay-Z Dominated Grammy Nominations

Jay-Z Dominated Grammy NominationsJay-Z has the opportunity of bringing home some precious gilded gramophones at this year’s 56th edition of the Grammy Awards.

The hip-hop maven received nine nominations at the annual awards ceremony, and he’s running in categories including best rap song and best rap album. Unfortunately, the rapper has missed out on the prestigious album and record of the year for Magna Carta Holy Grail.

Justin Timberlake, Kendrick Lamar, and newcomers, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, are also amongst the fortunate nominees with seven nominations received.

Sadly, not all major artists made the cut. Miley Cyrus, for example, was left out of all categories despite releasing the notorious song, Wrecking Ball, earlier this year.
