Jack White premiered second solo video 'Sixteen Saltines'
Former member of The White Stripes, Jack White follows the "Love Interruption" debut video with a brand new premiere of a very strange video for his latest single, "Sixteen Saltines in which we see White as the only adult as he is being held hostage in a world populated entirely by kids who have gone entirely nuts: they get tattooed, they have looking dogs, while White is tied up in the back seat of a car. On April 1, Jack White released Freedom At 21, another new track from his forthcoming debut solo album Blunderbuss, by the method of helium balloon. The balloons were accompanied by custom postcards with instructions for the finder to submit photos and notify the label about where they discovered the disc.
Blunderbuss is due to be released on April 23rd. Jack White is due to play his debut UK solo gigs in June, starting with a date at London's O2 Academy Brixton on June 21. A gig at the capital's HMV Hammersmith Apollo is scheduled for the following night (22), with a slot at Radio 1's Hackney Weekend (23-24) also pencilled in.
