U2 reschedules US tour dates
U2 have announced rescheduled US tour dates, having been forced to postpone their tour while frontman Bono recovered from back surgery.
With the singer now on the mend and scheduled to pick up the band's European tour in August, the Irish band have now said they will tour the US from May 21 next year, with original tickets for the gigs valid for the new dates.
U2 will play the following shows in 2011: Denver Invesco Field (May 21) Rice Eccles Stadium (May 24) Edmonton Commonwealth Stadium (June 1) Seattle Qwest Field (June 4) Oakland McAfee Coliseum (June 7) Anaheim Angels Stadium (June 17) Anaheim Angels Stadium (June 18) East Lansing Spartan Stadium (June 26) Miami Sun Life Stadium (previously Dolphin Stadium) (June 29) Chicago Soldier Field (July 5) Montreal Hippodrome (July 8, 9) Toronto Rogers Centre (July 11) Philadelphia Lincoln Financial Field (July 14) East Rutherford New Meadowlands Stadium (July 20) Minneapolis TCF Bank Stadium (July 23)
