TLC plan first new album for 10 years

TLC plan first new album for 10 yearsThe 90s hip hop group confirmed their plan to work on their first album after ten years since Lisa 'Left Eye' Lopes passed away. The members of the group Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins and Rozanda "Chilli" Thomas confirmed the announcement at the MOBO Awards in Liverpool when they received their Outstanding Contribution Honors.

"We're going to still sound like TLC, evolving to whatever level we need to be at this time," said T-Boz, confirming the group will begin work on new material soon and also go on tour. "When that stops working, maybe we'll hang up the towel, but that still works. We have to get into the studio and start feeling how we feel. You have to find yourself first and then you find the path and then you have an album before you know it," added the singer. This would be the first project since their last 2002's "3D" and after the passing of the third Lisa 'Left Eye' Lopes.

The group was one of the biggest-selling hip hop/R'n'B acts of the 90s in the US, and we can recognize the big hits of the band like "Waterfalls", "Creep" and "No Scrubs".

T-Boz and Chilli are executive producers of the VH1 biopic, where they cast actresses to play themselves.
