The hot sexy Latino singer, Ricky Martin, has recently confessed to being a bully as a child.

Ricky, who came out as a gay man in 2010, admitted to struggling for years with his repressed sexuality, repression that led to violent bursts. In an interview, the 41-year-old Grammy-winner recalled the painful experience of acting against his own impulses. Belonging to a Roman Catholic family, did not make things easier for the artist, who constantly felt ashamed of his sexual orientation.

'I was very angry, very rebellious. I used to look at gay men and think, I'm not like that, I don't want to be like that, that's not me. I was ashamed,' the singer confessed. 'When you're told you're wrong by everyone, from society, from your faith ' my self-esteem was crushed. I took my anger out on those around me.'

Decades later, the singer found internal peace and decided to embrace his true nature and not to hide it anymore. 'I look back now and realise I would bully people who I knew were gay,' Ricky confessed. 'I had internalised homophobia. To realise that was confronting to me. I wanted to get away from that.'

In 2008 Ricky Martin became the father of the twin boys, Matteo and Valentino, born by a surrogate mother. He has also made public his relationship with the stock broker, Carlos González Abella.
