Video premiere: Paloma Faith's 30 Minute Love Affair clip narrates true story
Just one week after announcing her new single, Paloma Faith premieres the music video in support of sexy track "30 Minute Love Affair" which sets its action in an underground strip club.
The clip opens with the singer standing in an alley while arguing with a man. She then bids the man a bitter farewell before walking off and stepping into the Wearing a gorgeous gold dress with a matching floral clip she performs on the stage of a cabaret singing to a mic. An audience of men are seen ogling at the dancers who are seductively and smoothly flowing on stage.
In the bittersweet song, she narrates a doomed relationship - just like its title implies: "30 minute love affair/ All in the blink of an eye/ There you were standing there/ I heard an angel cry," into the mic while looking intently at the crowd before her.
Produced by Nellee Hooper, Jake Gosling "30 Minute Love Affair" is the second single from Paloma Faith's chart topping album Fall to Grace, which has already been released May 28th. Single gets officialy released on August 12th in the U.K.
As the title implies - and not only, the song is about a short encounter with a man that left her enamored by him. She alludes to this in video when she meets the pianist on the dance floor and they share a very intense moment before she pushes him away. She then meets up with the man shown at the beginning outside the club.
Apparently the song was inspired by a real life experience when she met someone in London' Leicester Square when she was just 14.
