Billy Ray Cyrus didn’t criticize his daughter performance on VMAs even if Miley shocked the audience with with her controversial live comeback.
Miley Cyrus shocked the 10 million viewers that followed the MTV awards ceremony when she hit the stage for a performance of her new hit single „We Can't Stop”.
She stripped in a nude bikini and twerked against Robin Thicke, who teamed up with her onstage for his single „Blurred Lines”.
The country music singer Billy Ray didn’t seem to care about Miley’s performance and showed his support to his daughter.
'Thanking God for so many blessings tonight. Continue to pray for world peace. More love ...less hate,' he wrote after Miley's provocative performance.
He said that he was not reffering to his daughter’s headline-grabbing act, but to a much larger matter. He was affected by last week's attack in Syria that claimed hundreds of innocent lives.
