Machine Head just aired their Bloodstone And Diamonds album. See where you can download it from!Jared MacEachern will be the new bassist for Machine Head, since Adam won't be singing anymore. Nuclear Blast just gave us the third song off of this album yesterday. It's kind of a gore marathon in Night of Long Knives, a song that reminds me of three things. A book called 'The Cement Garden', by Ian McEwan, maybe, maybe that Marquis de Sade book called 'Salò o le 120 giornate di Sodoma' and, because of the bloody knife running through the house and the bodies and general disorderly state in which the house is in, the song totally brings up the name Mordum. I don't know if you're familiar with this name, or that of Fred Vogel. August Underground's Mordum is a movie made with a budget of 300 bucks, but I can guarantee you full catharsis. You'll walk out into the light a different man, better, kinder and with an eager wish of abstinence.

The lyrics in the Machine Head song invite us to kill with knives, to go past that point of no return. And most of all, move in silence. No use having a house arrest if the people will see you coming. Hehe. The bet of the song is another one altogether. I can tell you that Hollywood reference (which I didn't quite get) has something to do with it.

Go and download the whole album from New Album Releases dot net, from one of the two mirrors they provide, and be sure to buy the album in a couple of days, when the stores will be sure to have it. Cheers!
