"I spoke to her over the phone. She called me in rehearsal while we were getting ready for the tour and we spoke about working," he said. It appears that Black Eyed Peas star has approached him at the BRITs: "Will.i.am came and stopped me and said, 'I love 'Earthquake', we need to work'," Labrinth said. "I'm like, 'What's going on with my life, it just keeps getting more crazy'. I took his number and he sent me an email and I'm going to work on one of his records."
Labrinth is set to release his debut album Electronic Earth later this month.
