Kylie Anxious To Release 2014 LP
Kylie Minogue is looking forward to the future.
The “Can’t Get You Out of My Head” pop star is preparing for the release of her twelfth studio album on Jay-Z's record, label Roc Nation. Working with a new team of producers has not been easy for the 45-year-old pop legend, but she declares that she appreciates the experience.
“I actually didn't know where I was going or what the future held at the end of 2012,”Kylie told British newspaper The Sun. “There's been a lot of change, this album is about taking the plunge and embracing the future and not holding on to things from the past. It wasn't the easiest road but signing with Roc Nation, spending a lot of time in America and [being a coach on TV talent show The Voice UK] gave me a challenge and I needed that to feel reinvigorated. It's not been easy but it's rewarding.”
Kylie also confessed that she had been suffering of anxiety lately, and that she had been driving herself crazy in anticipation over the release of her new LP.
“I always get nervous. I've invested a lot in this album, pretty much all of last year,” she revealed. “I genuinely can't wait for people to hear it. I want to deliver the gift and move to the next phase with it.”
Kylie's forthcoming single, “Into the Blue,” is due for release in a couple of months.
