A new touch to Bette Davis Eyes. Kylie is really doing it
After Kiss Me Once, it seems that Kylie has gone into a sort of laid back, smooth singing mode. This cover of Kim Carnes's hit of the 2000' seems a bit of an easy ride for the Australian singer. It's just that Kylie's voice fits Bette Davis Eyes perfectly, that I couldn't imagine one bit of a strain mark on the singer's face while interpreting this.
The cover was done for BBC Radio 2, and people are already loving it. The song's still got that pam-pam-ta-da-da-ra-da-duuuum on it, but, in addition, Kylie's altered the sound with a synthesizer. A real must listen, this cover here
