Bieber’s Trial Date for DUI is Set
A judge has finally set the date for Justin Bieber’s trial.
The pop star was arrested on January 23, in Miami Florida. He was accused of driving under influence, driving under and invalid license, and refusing arrest.
The teenager is currently out on a $2,500 bail, and is waiting for his trial, which was set for the 3rd of March.
Justin’s legal team has already filed a not guilty plea on all three misdemeanors. According to CNN, the singer’s blood test results showed that the blood content was below the 0.2 limit for underage drivers.
However, police officials reported to have found narcotics in his system. According to the urine sample that Bieber was forced to provide, the singer had used Xanax and marijuana before getting behind the wheel.
Justin's friend, R&B singer Khalil Amir Sharieff, was also booked on a driving under influence charge during the incident. We don’t know yet whether or not Khalil will be heading to court as well.
