Near the end of the prizes-given event held last night 2011 AMAs, the British Pop singer Adele was honored with Favorite Pop/Rock Album for her 21 album. Her award was accepted by Jenny McCarthy as the "Rolling in the Deep" songstress is recovering from her throat minor surgery. Adele also won Favorite Pop/Rock Female Artist and Favorite Adult Contemporary Artist.

The winner of the evening who was not announced on the televised event was Foo Fighters. This band won Favorite Alternative Artist over The Black Keys and Mumford & Sons.
