Watch J. Cole's video premiere of 'Lost Ones' emotional
'Mr. Nice Watch' rapper, J. Cole debuted a new video for his single 'Lost Ones' just one day before his collab-song to Beyonce's 'Party (Remix)' video debuts in full.
Cole impersonates a guy who let her girlfriend pregnant, but now he admits to her that he ain't ready to be a father. They are getting into an heated argument as he raps they're still kids and they have no money to raise a child : "How we gon raise a kid by ourself?/ Handle biz by ourself/ A n*a barely over 20, where the hell we gon live?/ Where am I gon get that money/ I refuse to bring my boy or my girl in this world/ When I aint got st to give 'em."
Lifted from his debut album Cole World: The Sideline Story, Cole filmed the clip years ago with "just a Dollar and a Dream", in 2008 as he says in the beginning of the video : "With just a Dollar and a Dream, this video was shot in 2008 before I even got a record deal. 3 years later, watching it still gives me the same emotions" and he also added: "This is dedicated to the Lost Ones - Jermaine Cole".
